Politics

There was a debate with 3 chancellors last night about cuts in our economy and how they're trying to create a better future for us economically. But how can the government be trusted when they can't look after their own citizens?? We have immigrants flooding in from all ports, stealing jobs from right under our noses and exploiting our benefit system! If the government really cared they would crack down on being so leniant and look after their own people instead of trying to look good towards others! Personally; i don't believe any of these chancellors because politics are based on empty promises and misleading people. They always say something that appeals to us first off to lead us into a false sense of security and when they get elected it all becomes hypocritical and they've mislead us into voting for them. Like what was said last night; there were warnings about our banking system years ago and how it could be dangerous, so why didn't they listen? It's because they're too arrogant and self righteous to heed another partys' warnings. Mr Osborne said we would learn from our mistakes;but how many times will we have to make them in order to learn?

  1. Apart from the xenophobic Daily Mail opening remarks you have made a good point well enough.
'Politics are based on empty promises and misleading people' say you, and never a truer word may have left your keyboard.
Particularly like the concluding sentence. You have something worthy of our attention and a good way of expressing it.
